The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for a proposal submitted by the President as the Finance, Plan Implementation and Economic Development Minister to implement new loan schemes to assist micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurships (SMEs) devastated by the weather calamity. For many years the Government has implemented various concessionary loan schemes to strengthen the micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurship sector.
