The snooker champion Irshath Thaha of Moors SC once again came to the fore, claiming his second major title in one week following his Open Ranking Championship. He clinched the 6 Red Snooker National Championship with a 5-1 win against H.A.M. Rimzan of YMCA in the final, held at the Moors SC billiard table in Colombo, winning the frames 40-10, 39-1, 72-0, 32-40, 60-1, and 40-32.
