One of the most persistent frustrations voiced by International Relations undergraduates – especially those from the Global South – is their limited access to paywalled journal articles and book chapters, and therefore to the most recent theoretical and empirical debates in the field. Even those who manage to secure access to SAGE, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Wiley or Taylor and Francis journals run into a second obstacle: the prose.
