The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the implementation of the RE-MSME PLUS loan scheme, consolidating existing credit programs for micro, small, and medium scale entrepreneurs and providing financial relief to those affected by recent disasters. The approval was granted based on the proposal submitted by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who also serves as the Minister of Finance, Plan Implementation, and Economic Development.
