M.J. Amaan of Al-Ashraff Central College, Irakkamam took 12.5 seconds to win the first place and was awarded Gold Medal in the Under-14, 100m event in the recently concluded 54th Ritzbury Sir John Darbat Junior Athletics Championship at Embilipitiya Mahaweli ground. The meet was conducted by the Schools Athletics Association and Ministry of Education with the sponsorship of Ritzbury.
