Last week, the media reported that all future recruitment to the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) will be strictly based on qualifications and professional experience. The initiative seeks to establish a transparent, merit-based process across all job categories and will be implemented in every SLTB regional office islandwide in the coming days.
