China to make Shenzhen into a model city with bolder reforms | South China Morning Post

Beijing has given Shenzhen special status to carry out wide-ranging reforms in a plan unveiled on August 18, 2019. It hopes the country’s high-tech capital just across the border from Hong Kong will become a model city for others to follow.
