Twitter and Facebook suspend 'China-linked' accounts for misinformation | South China Morning Post

Twitter and Facebook have taken down what they call China-linked accounts and pages that seek to undermine the ongoing pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong. Both social media sites said these accounts are part of a larger coordinated campaign. Twitter said there is evidence that it is backed by the Chinese government.
