Shortly after the end of an online vigil to mark 31 years since the Tiananmen Square crackdown, several protesters in Hong Kong’s Mong Kok district tried to block roads near a main junction. They were quickly stopped by plain-clothes officers who dispersed them with batons and pepper spray.
