Hong Kong saw a record high of 113 new Covid-19 cases on July 22, 2020, more than half of unknown origin. Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan, head of the communicable disease branch at the Centre for Health Protection, urged people who were waiting for Covid-19 virus test results to stay at home.
