Henan residents in China smash police car over fireworks ban, 6 arrested | South China Morning Post

Six people have been arrested in central China’s Henan province for allegedly smashing a police car and attacking officers. The police had turned up at the scene on January 2, 2023, to enforce an existing ban on fireworks. Police said the group in Luyi county was “suspected of picking quarrels and provoking trouble”.
