North Koreans planted trees to commemorate the annual Tree Planting Day in Pyongyang on March 15, 2023, according to North Korean state media. About 4,000 trees of nine species were planted this year around the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site, the birthplace of North Korea’s founder Kim Il-sung.
