South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged all sides to show restraint after the United States and Israel carried out strikes on Iran, followed by Tehran’s retaliatory missile attacks. Ramaphosa expressed “deep concern” over the rapidly escalating tensions in the Middle East, warning of broader consequences beyond the region. “These developments pose a serious threat to regional and international peace and security, with far-reaching humanitarian, diplomatic and economic consequences,” the Presidency of the Republic of South Africa said in a
