Qatar has suspended all public events, gatherings and hotel entertainment activities until further notice, citing public safety concerns. A circular issued by Qatar Tourism confirmed that venues must halt organised functions across hotels and tourist sites. Authorities have also stopped all Ramadan tents and iftar events, which are typically hosted during the holy month for companies, government institutions and the wider public.
